Share a little about your farm operation:

We run about 110 sows with 100 of those being Berkshires. It's a farrow-to-finish showpig and Berkshire meat operation.

Promoting Berkshire pork is one of our four main objectives of our operation.

 

Advice to those starting out in the industry:

   Listen to what other breeders tell you. Chances are they've been there and done that!

This will help keep your learning curve costs at a minimum. You're not going to buy your way to the top- you need to earn your way there!

  World Pork Expo

 

Fun Fact:

I was inducted into the Ohio State Fair Swine Barn Hall of Fame in 2015 as a Berkshire breeder showing there for over 42 consecutive years.
